YWCA Crabtree Corner

Vitrum Glass Group is humbled to be able to support YWCA Crabtree Corner in its admirable work by funding the installation of a hatch window that allows staff and volunteers to distribute food with increased convenience and efficiency. Food insecurity has always been a challenge for single mothers but is becoming ever more prevalent during the current cost-of-living crisis.

YWCA Crabtree Corner has been at the heart of community work in the Downtown Eastside since the 1980s and in this location for almost 20 years.  YWCA Crabtree Corner produces and provides over 100 meals for the wider Downtown Eastside community and distributes them outside the centre.  This is just one of the many ways they help the community.
